Here's when Destiny 2 Curse of Osiris DLC unlocks

Tomorrow is a big day for Destiny 2 fans, especially those who have finished all of the content the base game offers. Destiny 2's first DLC, Curse of Osiris, is scheduled to launch tomorrow, bringing the first major round of fresh content with it. Bungie has shared a roadmap for tomorrow's launch, and if you're looking to dive in right when the DLC is released, you're going to want to take a look at it.

Tomorrow's launch of Curse of Osiris is going to be preceded by a period of downtime in which Bungie will update the game. That downtime begins at 7 AM Pacific time on December 5, and after that point, you won't be able to log into Destiny 2. If you're already in game, you'll be able to keep playing for another hour, but at 8 AM Pacific, Bungie is going to kick everyone back out to the title screen.

Once that second phase of maintenance kicks in at 8 AM, you'll be able to begin downloading Curse of Osiris. Two hours later, at 10 AM Pacific, Bungie expects maintenance to be over, so that'll be the earliest you can dive into Curse of Osiris. The update that comes along with this server maintenance will bring Destiny 2 to version 1.1.0, which will be need to be downloaded alongside the DLC before you can play.

In addition to a new quest line centering around the famed warlock Osiris, Curse of Osiris will offer a handful of new locations to explore. These include the planet Mercury, the Vex-controlled Infinite Forest, and the Lighthouse, which is where the Followers of Osiris wait for the warlock's return. Of course, there will also be new gear to unlock, with a bunch of new weapons and armor to outfit your Guardians with.

Curse of Osiris is the first of two expansions in Destiny 2's season pass. We don't know anything about the second expansion at the moment, aside from the fact that it'll be out sometime in spring 2018. Once Curse of Osiris has launched, it probably won't be long before we hear more about that second expansion, so keep it tuned here for more.
