Sonos Arc Gallery

Sonos has a new soundbar, and if you've been missing Dolby Atmos support in your home theater room, the Sonos Arc will correct that. The first of Sonos' products to offer the surround-sound tech, the Arc has eleven speakers, each with their own Class-D amplifier. Two of those drivers face up, to bounce sound off the ceiling for 3D audio.

It'll work as a full soundbar in its own right, or you can pair it with two more Sonos speakers for the rear channels. Sonos Sub (Gen 3) is arriving alongside Arc, for an extra jolt of bass. The soundbar also has a quad-microphone array to work with the Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa.

In addition to an optical digital input there's HDMI eARC and ARC support. The soundbar also debuts Sonos' new S2 software, with support for higher resolution audio and other new features. It's priced at $799.
