Nissan Vmotion 2.0 Concept Gallery

Nissan's Vmotion 2.0 Concept reimagines the four-door sedan with a far more aggressive design, previewing the automaker's plans for future models. Roughly the same size as the current Nissan Maxima, the concept car features a huge set of butterfly-esque doors, which open to reveal a pillarless cabin. It's been shown off for the first time today, at the North American International Auto Show 2017.

On the outside, there's a more distinctive version of Nissan's current grille design. That's the starting point for some sharp crease-lines, which flood back over the hood and the flanks of the car, and reach a floating roof design with split C-pillars. LED lights front and rear punctuate the silver paint with copper undertones.

Inside, there's room for four in a cabin riddled with touchscreens. Nissan envisages its ProPILOT autonomous drive system taking over some of the urban driving – there'll be glowing indicators outside, front and back, to let other traffic know that the car is at the helm.
