Nissan GT-R 50 by Italdesign Gallery

Nissan's GT-R has been around for some time now, and what better way to celebrate than a limited run of super-exclusive custom models based on the modern-day Japanese icon. The automaker paired up with Italian specialists Italdesign for the GT-R 50 back in 2018, to celebrate the coupe's five decades in production. Then, based on positive feedback, it decided to build fifty examples.

The result is the car you see here, the Nissan GT-R 50 by Italdesign. The first of those production models, it's a sleek reimagining of the Japanese car with European styling treatment. Lower, more aggressive, and in painfully short supply, it isn't short on power either. A hand-built twin-turbo V6 delivers 710 horsepower.

While this first production car looks a whole lot like the original show vehicle, buyers will get to choose their own color schemes. Just as you'd hope, too, considering the $1.1 million price tag. The first deliveries are expected from the end of 2020.
