Microsoft Surface Laptop Go Gallery

Microsoft's Surface family is gaining a new member, with the Surface Laptop Go slotting in at the entry-level. Targeting those who want an affordable notebook, don't need a 2-in-1, but who aren't willing to compromise on style, it packs a 12.4-inch PixelSense touchscreen. Inside, there's a 10th Gen Intel Core i5 processor, 4GB or 8GB of memory, and up to 256GB of storage.

Connectivity includes WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0, though unlike the Surface Go there's no LTE option, nor 5G. Ports include USB Type-A and Type-C, and the battery is rated for around 13 hours of use. It'll charge from zero to 80-percent in just over an hour.

OS is Windows Home in S Mode, with Windows 10 Pro an option. Three colors will be offered, all using an aluminum lid and a composite base with partially recycled materials. Pricing will kick off at $549.99.
