Microsoft Surface Duo 2 Gallery

Microsoft may not have had exactly smooth sailing with the original Surface Duo, but it's not giving up. Instead, it's taking a second shot at the clamshell category, with the new Surface Duo 2. Like before, the slimline tablet folds in half, with a pair of screens inside.

Those panels at 5.8-inches each, combining for an 8.3-inch screen in total. There's 90Hz adaptive refresh rate, and a piece of Gorilla Glass Victus keeping them safe. Inside, meanwhile, there's Qualcomm's Snapdragon 888 chipset, with 8GB of memory, up to 512GB of storage, and 5G. For the US, there'll be both Sub-6 GHz and mmWave compatibility across all the major carriers.

Three cameras are on the back, a wide, ultra-wide, and 2x telephoto sensor. A selfie camera is on the front. There's support for Microsoft's various stylus options, together with all the Android 11 apps you'd expect. The only downside, you could say, is the price: a not-inconsiderable $1,499.
