Mercedes-Benz didn’t just bring one new car to the New York International Auto Show, but three, running the gamut from drop-top, through crossover coupe, to powerful executive sedan.
Two of the cars called on the help of the AMG team, though with very different characters as a result. The 2017 Mercedes-AMG C 63 Cabriolet is a boulevard cruiser with bite, offering open-top motoring but with the promise of up to 503 HP along with 516 lb-ft. torque lurking just beneath the surface.
The 2017 Mercedes-AMG E 43, meanwhile, puts its power in a sedan, complete with 401 HP.
Finally, there’s the 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe, a blend of SUV and sportscar. It, too, will offer an AMG version.
