LG Watch W7 Gallery

LG aims to blend the best of old watch tech with modern smartwatch talents, with the LG Watch W7. While on the one hand it's a Wear OS by Google smartwatch, complete with a 1.2-inch circular touchscreen, it also has something new. That's a set of mechanical hands, which sweep on top of the Watch W7's display.

It allows LG to do some interesting things with power management. In Wear OS mode, you get around two days of battery life. However, in "Just Watch" mode, the Watch W7 uses only the physical mechanism to track time, shutting the processor down altogether, and giving you up to 100 days of use.

Even if you've gone through your two days of Wear OS use, LG says, you should still have enough power left over for 2-3 days of "Just Watch" mechanical time. Otherwise it's business as usual for a Wear OS smartwatch, with WiFi and Bluetooth – though no LTE – and a handy scroll wheel on the side.
