Lamborghini Huracán EVO Rear-Wheel Drive Spyder Gallery

Lamborghini's new Huracán EVO Rear-Wheel Drive Spyder is the inevitable escalation of the two-door's range, taking the same driver-focused platform of the Huracàn EVO RWD Coupe and slicing off the roof. That means you still get a 5.2-liter V10 engine with 610 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque, but you can hear it a whole lot better. Lamborghini even allows the rear window to drop down, regardless of whether the soft top is up or down, so you can't ignore its engine.

All of the power goes – via a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission – to the rear wheels. 0-62 mph comes in 3.5 seconds and the top speed is 201 mph. Lamborghini's ANIMA system offers three drive modes, ranging from something for the street to maximum performance on the track; in-between there's Sport mode, which allows for some drifting action in the corners.

Outwardly, there are a few styling details which help distinguish this particular car from the other variations of Huracán EVO we've seen over the past couple of years. For eager drivers, though, this may well be the pick of the bunch. It'll arrive in the US in summer 2020.
