Karma GS-6 Gallery

Familiar and new, that's the Karma GS-6. While the name might have changed, the core DNA of Karma Automotive's plug-in hybrid remains closely tied to its Fisker Karma origins. Then again, when the original design looked this good, you'd need a very good reason to change it.

What is different is the price, no longer in six-figures, and that makes the GS-6 a whole lot more appealing for those looking for electrification but with a unique twist. The slinky sedan is a hybrid, pairing a BMW gas engine with electric power on the rear axle. The gas engine acts as a range extender, and the result is a long-distance GT car with space inside for four.

While the EV market is growing all the time, little looks quite as head-turning as the GS-6. Inside, meanwhile, it's a combination of traditional luxe like leather and real metal, paired with a big touchscreen, carbon fiber, and a unique interface. It may not be your first thought when you look at a new luxury hybrid, but it's arguably that very exclusivity which makes the Karma so appealing.
