The iPhone XR was revealed on September 12th, 2018 at an Apple Event that also played host to the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max. The two more expensive devices were released with OLED displays in 5.8 and 6.5-inch sizes, while the iPhone XR came with a 6.1-inch LCD display. The iPhone XR was the least expensive of the three and came with a choice of 6 different color casings.

The iPhone XR came in Blue, White, Black, Yellow, Coral, and (Product)RED Red. The iPhone XR came with a single back-facing camera while its brethren came with two. Up front, though, the iPhone XR had a very similar set of cameras and sensors. This array of cameras and sensors made the "notch" made for a display shape unique to the iPhone X family of phones.
