Taking the iPhone 6 and adding 3D Touch, faster LTE, an improved 12-megapixel camera with Live Photos, and 4K video recording, the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus are Apple's play for the smartphone top-spot in 2015. Revealed in San Francisco in early September, the two handsets will arrive in the US on September 25 in four colors: silver, gold, space gray, and the new rose gold.

Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, and others will offer the two smartphones, which keep the 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch screen sizes and sleek metal construction.

Meanwhile, Apple's new A9 processor runs iOS 9, though that will also be coming to existing iPhones in a free update. There's more on the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus in our full hands-on.
