Hyundai Prophecy Gallery

It may look a little like a goth shark, but the Hyundai Prophecy concept is actually a whole lot more enthusiastic. Intended to preview what the South Korean automaker believes is the "Ultimate Automotive Form," it's an aerodynamically-refined vision of what tomorrow's EV may look like. In the process, it's also a heavy-handed hint as to what upcoming Hyundai production cars will resemble.

That means wheels pushed out to the corners of the vehicle, and a smooth body over which airflow can be carefully managed. Hyundai encloses the lights and other components in clear acrylic, allowing their functionality to be highlighted while not adding drag. The pixel lamps of 2019's 45 Concept are carried over and made more complex.

Inside, Hyundai envisages autonomous driving guided by a pair of joysticks rather than a steering wheel. That allows for a more open dashboard, which hinges to give occupants more space.
