Whether you credit the iPad Pro or something else, the market in 12-inch tablets is suddenly flourishing, and Huawei is joining the party. The Huawei MateBook, announced at MWC 2016 this week, is a 12-inch Windows 10 tablet masquerading as a sleek Android slate.

There's a detachable keyboard and a digital stylus – into which Huawei has fitted a laser pointer and PowerPoint presentation controls for the busy businesspeople it envisages falling for the MateBook's charms – plus a companion dock with ethernet, USB, VGA, and more.
