Bollinger B1 Gallery

If electrification is the way forward, are utility vehicles about to be left out? Bollinger Motors says no, and while its B1 truck might look like a riff on the classic Land Rover Defender, beyond the boxy sheet metal there's a thoroughly modern platform. Think all-electric.

Motors front and back add up to all-wheel drive, with up to 200 miles of range depending on which battery configuration you opt for. There's a real nod to workday practicality, too, with a HI/LO transfer and electronic locking differentials front and rear. 360 horsepower is paired with a healthy 472 lb-ft. of torque.

However, it's the flexible design that really shows why electric has a place in the wild. By putting the powertrain under the cabin, it means the front trunk can be connected via a pass-through panel to the passenger compartment and all the way to the trunk, for transporting longer items.
