Beats Studio Buds Gallery

Beats Studio Buds see the Apple-owned headphones company wade into the active noise cancelling earbuds segment, with its first set of true-wireless ANC earbuds. Combining the company's familiar styling with a new, smaller design, Studio Buds promise to be not only Beats' smallest wireless earbuds so far, but much smaller than most of their key rivals. That's despite offering up to 24 hours of music playback with the earbuds and the charging case.

Inside each bud is a custom driver and a two-chamber design, along with a battery good for up to 8 hours with ANC off, or 5 hours with it on. The ANC system has two modes, either cancelling out all exterior noise, or Transparency mode to allow through conversations and other ambient sound. You can control that by long-pressing the "b" button on the outside of each earbud.

Unusually, Beats is promising an equal experience whether you're an iOS or an Android user. There's support for both Apple's Find My and Google's Find My Device, for example, along with quick-pairing support on both iPhone and Android handsets. Available in red, black, and white, Beats Studio Buds are priced at $149.99.
