Aston Martin AMR Gallery

Hand Aston Martin Racing the keys to your road-going line-up and, if you're lucky, you might end up with something like this. AMR is the automaker's newest sub-brand, slotting in-between regular road cars and the track-only work of the Aston Martin Racing team. The idea is to take every production car Aston Martin makes, and give it a faster, more focused version.

Two cars are getting rolled out today at the Geneva Motor Show 2017 to illustrate just what that looks like in practice. The Rapide AMR is the "tamer" of the two, with the four-door getting more power – 592 HP, no less – for a 210 mph top speed. New bodywork and interior trim keep it looking distinct from its regular sibling.

As for the Vantage AMR Pro, that's the handiwork of the Q by Aston Martin Special Operations team, and has the most power of a V8 Vantage to-date. It's targeted at the track, with 500 HP, race-spec adjustable suspension, and a roll-cage, among other niceties.
