2022 Hyundai Kona and Kona Electric Gallery

Hyundai is giving one of its most affordable models a revamp, with the 2022 Kona crossover offering more rugged styling and more tech inside. Longer than the outgoing Kona, the MY22 compact SUV has a reworked fascia with an overhanging hood, plus more distinctive LED lighting front and rear. There's also new door and bumper trim.

Inside, the dashboard has been reworked, and you can now have twin 10.25-inch displays: one for the driver and one for the center console. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are onboard, too. Engines continue to be either a 2.0-liter inline-4 or a 1.6-liter turbo-4; there's also an N Line package with the turbocharged engine and bolder styling still.

As for the 2022 Kona Electric, that still has a single electric motor and 258 miles of range. It gets new styling too, plus Level 2 and DC fast charging support as standard. Expect them all in US dealerships in fall 2021.
