2021 Toyota Sienna Gallery

Minivans aren't typically eye-catching, but Toyota aims to change that with the 2021 Sienna. Styled after Japan's iconic Bullet Trains, the new minivan isn't quite as fast, but it sure does look sleek. Available 20-inch wheels and a sporty XSE trim give it more purpose than you'd expect from a vehicle in this segment.

It'll be a hybrid as standard, with no gas-only option. Toyota pairs a 2.5-liter inline-four gas engine with two electric motors for that, for 243 horsepower and a hefty estimated 33 mpg combined fuel economy. That's a huge step up from the old Sienna. AWD will again be offered, but this time with a dedicated rear electric motor rather than the heavier mechanical system of old.

Inside, there's seating for up to eight, along with a redesigned dashboard with a focus on extra stowage space. Toyota will offer super-sliding second row seats, with a full 25-inches of movement front and back. Expect the 2021 Sienna to arrive in the US later in 2020.
