2021 Land Rover Discovery Gallery

Arguably the brand-defining model in Land Rover's line-up, the Discovery can't coast by on icon status: hence a selection of big updates for the 2021 model year. On the outside, the Discovery picks up on cues from the Discovery Sport, including a new grille and bold new headlamps with a fresh daytime running light signature. The same carries on at the rear, with new LED taillamps. New lower fascias, front and rear, help visually plant the SUV.

There's a new R-Dynamic trim, which adds styling upgrades both inside and out. Regardless of whether you opt for it or not, the 2021 Discovery gets a revamped cabin with a considerably larger 11.4-inch dashboard touchscreen. Running Land Rover's Pivi Pro infotainment system, it supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual LTE modems, wireless phone charging with signal boost, and remotely controlling whether the seats – with up to seven on offer – are up or down.

Under the hood there'll be two engines. The entry-level is a 2.0-liter turbo inline-4, while Land Rover will also offer a 3.0-liter turbo inline-6 mild hybrid. Terrain Response 2 is standard, as is all-wheel drive and air suspension. Pricing kicks off at $53,900 (plus $1,350 destination).
