2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Gallery

Jeep's full-size SUV is getting an upgrade, with the 2021 Grand Cherokee L promising more luxury, more tech, and more off-roading talent. Featuring a new platform and optional air-suspension, it'll now have space for up to seven inside, with three rows of seating. The second row can be had as two bucket seats with a center console, or as a folding bench.

Under the hood there'll be one of two engines at launch. Standard is a 3.6-liter V6; optional is a 5.7-liter V8. Both get an eight-speed transmission. Still to come, Jeep says, is a 4xe electric version of the SUV.

Outside, the styling matures with standard LED lighting and a sharper, more imposing front grille. Inside, there's more technology – including optional wireless charging for two phones – and Jeep's Uconnect 5 infotainment on up to a 10.1-inch display. It'll arrive in US dealerships from Q2 2021.
