Mercedes-AMG's GLC 43 family is getting a refresh, updating power, style, and technology for the 2020 model year. On the outside, both the 2020 GLC 43 Coupe and the 2020 GLC 43 SUV get a new AMG-specific grille, with vertical chromed slats. It's flanked by updated LED headlamps and, in the case of the coupe, a new lower fascia. At the rear, there are redesigned LED taillamps.

Under the hood is the primary change. The 3.0-liter V6 biturbo engine is up 23 horsepower, climbing to 385 hp and 384 lb-ft of torque. 0-60 mph comes in 4.7 seconds, and top speed is 130 mph. Opt for the 21-inch wheels and Summer Performance Tires, though, and that rises to 155 mph. 4MATIC all-wheel drive defaults to 31-percent of the power delivered to the front, and 69-percent to the rear.

Inside, the biggest update is the infotainment. The latest MBUX system has been installed, with "Hey Mercedes" natural-language voice control. The new cars will arrive in US dealerships close to the end of 2019.
