2020 Lexus RC F and RC F Track Edition Gallery

The Lexus RC F has always been a luxury cruiser, but for the 2020 model year the automaker's goal is to raise the excitement. In the case of the 2020 RC F, that means 472 horsepower and 395 lb-ft of torque – up 5hp and 6 lb-ft respectively – from the naturally-aspirated 5.0-liter V8. With a new, standard launch control system, 0-60 mph comes in 4.2 seconds.

Even more exciting is the 2020 RC F Track Edition. It keeps the same engine but puts the rest of the car on a diet. Carbon fiber for the roof, hood, bumper reinforcement, and a new fixed rear wing contribute to a saving of around 176 pounds versus the normal car. 19-inch lightweight forged alloy wheels help there, too.

0-60 mph arrives in 3.96 seconds, and Lexus is boasting the best power-to-weight ratio in the class. Inside, red leather and Alcantara are joined by red carbon trim; outside, there'll be a choice of just two colors, Ultra White and Matte Nebula Gray. Both cars will begin production in Q2 2019.
