2020 Kia Soul and 2020 Kia Soul EV Gallery

Kia brought its new 2020 Soul to the LA Auto Show 2018, now in its third generation. The chunky, squared-off little city car looks more grown-up than ever, though it's not lacking in charm along the way.

On the gas engine side, there'll be two options. First is a 2.0-liter Nu four-cylinder with 147 horsepower and 132 lb-ft of torque, paired with either a six-speed manual transmission or a CVT. Optional is a 1.6-liter twin-scroll turbocharged I-4 GDI engine with 201 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque, and a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.

More interesting, though, is the 2020 Kia Soul EV. Kia's all-electric car looks slicker than ever, and delivers 201 horsepower and 291 lb-ft of torque. No word on official range from its 64 kWh battery, but expect comfortably over 200 miles.
