2020 Ford Escape Gallery

Ford has revealed the 2020 Escape, and it's all-change for the compact crossover. Now looking far more car-like than the old Escape, the fourth-generation crossover is actually longer and wider than before. It's lower, though, and ride height has been lowered too.

The new dimensions pay dividends in terms of interior space, with both first and second rows getting more spacious. There's more tech, too. An 8-inch display perched on top of the dashboard supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and there's options like a head-up display, fully-digital instrumentation, and various active driver assistance systems.

Under the hood there'll be gas-only and hybrid options, along with a plug-in hybrid that follows on afterwards. Front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive will be offered. The new 2020 Escape will go on sale from fall 2019.
