2020 BMW M8 Gran Coupe Gallery

The standard BMW 8 Series Gran Coupe is no slowpoke, but for those who really need near-supercar performance from their luxury four-door there's now a new option. The 2020 BMW M8 Gran Coupe and M8 Gran Coupe Competition take the sleek not-quite-a-coupe and give it a power upgrade: 600 hp and 617 hp respectively, in fact. That's along with 553 lb-ft of torque.

0-60 mph comes in as little as 3.0 seconds, and if you opt for the M Driver's Package the regular 155 mph limiter is nudged up to 190 mph. All-wheel drive is standard, which typically defaults to rear-wheel drive. You can lock it there if you're feeling brave, or allow the M8 Gran Coupe to dynamically push power to the front wheels as traction requires it.

Inside, there's seating for four in comfort or five in a pinch, in a cabin with standard leather and ambient lighting. The latest generation of BMW's infotainment system is standard, too, with Apple CarPlay, a head-up display, and surround sound audio. The 2020 BMW M8 Gran Coupe will arrive in the US in early 2020.
