2020 Audi Q3 Sportback Gallery

Audi has revealed its first compact crossover, and the 2020 Q3 Sportback wants to make a splash. Cousin to the Q3 compact SUV, it has a strongly sloping roofline for that "almost a coupe" look, though still manages to seat five inside. Indeed, there's between 18.7 cubic feet and 49.4 cubic feet of storage, depending on whether the rear bench is folded or not.

Under the hood, Europe will have a choice initially of two engines. A 2.0 TFSI gas engine will have 230 horsepower, while a 2.0 TDI diesel will get 150 hp. Both will have an S tronic automatic transmission, though Audi will eventually offer a manual too. There'll also be a 48V mild hybrid later, too.

Some models will have Audi's Quattro all-wheel drive. Inside, Audi Virtual Cockpit will be offered, and there's connected navigation and natural language voice recognition. It'll go on sale in Europe this fall.
