2019 Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe Gallery

The Mercedes-AMG GT is, officially, a "4-Door Coupe," but let's not allow the silly name to get in the way of a seriously tempting new sedan. Handiwork of the AMG team, Mercedes' fiercest in-house tuners, the new four-door promises the performance of their sports cars with the convenience of four seats inside. That, and lots and lots of power.

At least 429 horsepower, in fact, in the base Mercedes-AMG GT 53, courtesy of a 3.0-liter inline-6 turbo engine with EQ boost. The AMG GT 63 steps that up to a 4.0-liter V8 biturbo entirely of AMG's own doing, with 577 horsepower. Finally, there's the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S, with the same engine tuned for a whopping 630 horsepower.

All get AWD as standard, while the AMG GT 63 S throws in drift mode as standard; you can add it as an option to the AMG GT 63, too. They also get active rear-wheel steering, and all three models have Mercedes' latest dual 12.3-inch digital dashboard. Figure on the first cars showing up in the US from early 2019.
