2019 Mercedes-AMG C 63 Gallery

Mercedes-AMG's C-Series cars are some of its most popular, so it comes as little surprise that the automaker has a vested interest in keeping them fresh. For the 2019 model year that means tweaked engine output and a new transmission to go with the handmade V8 biturbo. Gone is the torque convertor, replaced by a wet-start clutch that AMG promises is more responsive.

The exterior styling has been freshened up, for an altogether more aggressive look whether you go for the coupe, sedan, or cabriolet. The coupe has an optional AMG Aerodynamic package which can make it even more slippery. Inside, the steering wheel has been revamped, borrowing optional elements from the 2019 AMG GT 4-Door Coupe like the display-packing subcontrol panel.

Of course, the biggest deal is the power. Up to 503 horsepower, in fact, and up to 516 lb-ft of torque. That, Mercedes-AMG says, will send the C 63 S Coupe from 0-60 mph in an estimated 3.8 seconds when it goes on sale early in 2019.
