2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk Gallery

Does the world need a 707 horsepower SUV? You're asking the wrong question, really, since Jeep already made it. The 2018 Grand Cherokee Trackhawk borrows the jewel in Fiat-Chrysler's engine line-up, the monstrous supercharged V8 from the Hellcat.

That makes for a 3.5 second 0-60 mph time, which is more than enough to make this an SUV capable of terrifying the kids into finishing their homework. Happily there are uprated brakes to bring the 5,500 pound monster to a halt, too. That just leaves prodigious thirst at the pump to worry about.

Well, that's assuming you can find one to buy. Dealers know a popular car when they see one, and like other high-power FCA products – Dodge Demon, we're looking at you – there are some seriously inflated prices around. If you can find one close to the MRSP of $85k you should probably dive in feet-first and ask questions later.
