2018 Hyundai Kona Gallery

The 2018 Hyundai Kona is an all-new SUV that represents the automaker's first foray into the subcompact segment. Small, affordable, and stylish, the Kona is aimed at buyers seeking more space in their daily driver.

The Kona is offered with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine as well as a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder. The latter is good for roughly 180 horsepower, while the entry-level mill is rated at about 150 horsepower. Transmissions include a six-speed automatic and a seven-speed dual-clutch automated manual, and all-wheel drive is optional across the board.

Hyundai has also loaded the Kona with a host of available active safety features, and the vehicle can haul up to 30 cubic feet of gear with the rear seats in place. It slots in below the compact Hyundai Tucson in the brand's sport-utility line-up.
