2018 Honda Clarity Electric and Hybrid Gallery

Honda's Clarity range has reached completion at the New York International Auto Show 2017, with the addition of two models. Joining the Clarity Fuel Cell are the Clarity Electric, a fully electric plug-in, and the Clarity Hybrid, which pairs a gas engine with an electric drivetrain. Altogether, they're the vehicles Honda expects to give it a bold green future in the years ahead.

Style-wise, they share plenty with their Clarity Fuel Cell sibling. That's predominantly down to aerodynamics, since it's in Honda's best interest to make these cars as slippery as possible, cutting down on drag.

The Clarity Electric promises around eight miles of all-electric range – more than enough for the typical American driver. The Clarity Plug-in Hybrid, meanwhile, has a 42 mile electric range. That increases to 330 miles when the 1.5-liter gas engine kicks in.
