The 2017 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro is a full-size pickup truck that’s been designed to take on other off-road focused models like the Ford F-150 Raptor and the Ram Power Wagon. It features a full complement of trail-ready gear, including a more rugged suspension, easy to repair three-piece bumpers, and good ground clearance.
The Tundra TRD Pro has also been given a visual makeover to communicate its off-road readiness. Easy-to-spot TRD PRO call-outs are emblazoned on the sides of the box, while a blocky grille and unique rims and interior apppointments also catch the eye.
Mechanically, the Toyota truck maintains the same 381 horsepower V8 available in other Tundra models. It’s matched with a six-speed automatic transmission and standard low-range four-wheel drive.
