2017 Honda Civic Hatchback Sport Gallery

The tenth-generation Honda Civic may have been on sale for some time now, but the Sedan and Coupe are getting a third sibling. Making its debut in the US, the Civic Hatchback is a new arrival to North America, with the common platform between Civic models there and in Europe finally making it cost-effective to bring across the pond.

From the B-pillar back it's all-new sheet metal, with more cargo space and shorter rear overhangs. Honda's 1.5-liter turbocharged engine is standard, with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a CVT. Maximum horsepower is 180 HP, and there are new Sport and Sport Touring models which add bigger, 18-inch alloy wheels and body-kits.

Pricing kicks off at $19,700 (plus destination) for the Civic Hatchback EX with the 6-speed manual, while the same car with the CVT is $20,500. The Sport shown here is $21,300 for the manual; the top-of-the-range Sport Touring is $28,300 with a CVT as standard.
