2016 Cadillac CTS-V Gallery

Cadillac's CTS-V isn't your typical sedan. While it may be based on Caddy's luxury model, it's really designed to get you to warp speed in the shortest possible time.

To do that, Cadillac's V Sport team distracted the guys at Chevrolet and stole the 6.2-liter V8 supercharged engine usually found in the Corvette. It's good for 640 HP and 630 lb-ft of torque, which means a 0-60 mph time of 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 200 mph.

That's despite getting the same creature comforts as the regular CTS, and when slotted into Tour mode – as opposed to Sport or Race – the CTS-V can just as easily serve wafting-limo duty. Still, that seems something of a waste when you consider quite how track-ready the car is.
