Greenposi0n for Mac debuts with support for Mac and more

If you are a user of the iPhone or iPod touch on Mac, Linux, or Windows you now have a new jailbreak tool called Greenposi0n that you can use to unshackle your device. The developer team behind greenposi0n has announced that the tool has been updated.

The new update brings support for the touch 2G MC/MB and now works on the three most common OS' around. Perhaps the best news is that the jailbreak can free your Apple gear using the jailbreak tool without having to tether your device to a computer.

Naturally, the jailbreak offering is a use at your own risk software. You will want to backup data before trying the unlock and if things go wrong don't expect Apple to help you.
