Google: Ask Mark Wahlberg a question, selfie style

This morning Google began updating their search system to include answers to questions about celebrities, by celebrities. The feature will activate on smartphones first, in Google search. All you'll have to do is ask Google a question about Mark Wahlberg, and Mark Wahlberg will pop up and answer the question you asked.

Now, you don't have to ask things about Mark Wahlberg. You could also ask about Nick Jonas. But don't go asking Google just ANY question about Nick Jonas. You'll want to stick to the stuff you really want to know. Nick Jonas might not pop up and answer every question you have, but there are quite a few already embedded in the system. Jury's still out on whether this is a Robot Nick Jonas or a Real Nick Jonas – we'll see.

"We're piloting this feature on mobile with answers from Priyanka Chopra, Will Ferrell, Tracee Ellis Ross, Gina Rodriguez, Kenan Thompson, Allison Williams, Nick Jonas, Mark Wahlberg, James Franco, Seth MacFarlane, Jonathan Yeo, and Dominique Ansel," said Rami Banna, Product Manager for Google Search. "Their answers will appear in the form of selfie-style videos with a uniquely personal, authentic, and delightful touch."

Ask each of the following to get an answer right out the gate:

• How many languages does Priyanka Chopra Speak?

• Can Tracee Ellis Ross sing?

• Can Will Ferrell really play the drums?

Ask any question about any of the following people:

Priyanka Chopra

Will Ferrell

Tracee Ellis Ross

Gina Rodriguez

Kenan Thompson

Allison Williams

Nick Jonas

Mark Wahlberg

James Franco

Seth MacFarlane

Jonathan Yeo

Dominique Ansel

And most important of all: What movie changed Nick Jonas life?

Also please feel free to ask Nick Jonas the best piece of advice he's ever been given. Ask Nick Jonas what he's looking for in a significant other. Ask Nick Jonas if he likes Joe or Kevin more. Ask how old Nick Jonas is, ask if Nick Jonas is single, or ask whether Nick Jonas will marry you. Ask Nick Jonas anything you like – he might answer you!

The program will be starting this week. If you've not already got the update to Google Search, head to your app store and check the app for an update RIGHT now. It'll be there within the next few days.
