Samsung "Flagship" Phone Coming in Early 2011 with Huge Display and Gingerbread [UPDATE: Pic 2, Name?]

Take a peek at this gigantic phone. It's got a 4.5" (or 4.3"?) WVGA sAMOLED2 screen and it's going to run Android Gingerbread (which, at this point, I think we've all agreed is Android 2.3.) Engadget's been tipped the following image containing what appears to perhaps be legit info on a new phone coming in at the beginning of next year from Samsung, right around February.

The screen, as I said up there with a question mark, is said in different parts of the leak image to either be 4.5" or 4.3" – either way, it's tagged as sAMOLED2, which could mean SUPER AMOLED2 – this may imply that Sammy will be / has made some advanced moves over the screens that have appeared on Galaxy S models throughout 2010. It's described as an "ultra sleek design" and really, look at that image, it doesn't appear that it could get any sleeker. Additionally, looks like it will have a magically delicious 8 Megapixel camera, 16GB onboard storage, 1080p video capture, 14.4Mbps HSPA, a 1.2GHz core of some kind or another, and Bluetooth 3.0. Looks fabulous.

UPDATE: First, and least importantly, is the point made by an Engadget tipster by the name of Nathan H, which is that the image in the first presentation page of a hand holding up what appears to be the phone in question is actually an old image of a VoIP handset by Apiotek, and, again, because of the resourceful folks over at Engadget, we know that when searching Google images for the words "ultra slim phone" this image is on the first page. Therefore probably the person (more than likely an official person, still legit) putting this presentation page together did the same search when looking for filler images that weren't yet ready for the early look.

Secondly, there's a new image. This is another presentation page that shows a slightly larger image of the possible look of the phone, plus promises of Google Services, Google C2DM Service, an Astonishing Web Experience, Readers Hub, and a Full HD Experience (with the same 8MP Camera and 1080P Recording stats from before.)

Thirdly, a name for this phone that's being suggested for this phone (thank you Wonil) is "Samsung Elite." This term seems to have originated over at BriefMobile, but since there already is a Samsung Elite 3 over the ocean, we find that name to maybe not be the most accurate.
