GameCase adds physical controls to your iOS device

If you are an iOS gamer who enjoys playing games on your mobile device, but you don't enjoy on-screen controls the GameCase maybe just the project been looking for. The GameCase isn't a case in the way that you might think of because it's not designed to protect your device. It rather reminds of a PS3 or Xbox controller cut in half down the middle.

Each of those halves are designed to clamp onto the left and right side of your iOS device. The controller will work with the iPad and the iPhone and is designed to work with iOS 7 and Apple's MFi controller framework. The GameCase has a pair of dual analog sticks along with tactile buttons promising to increase the level of accuracy and precision when playing games.

The surface of the controller is covered in a non-slip rubber material and the design is intended to reduce fatigue and allow users to play for hours comfortably. GameCase says that it is currently working with game developers for iOS devices to create games specifically made to take advantage of the controller features.

The GameCase will support the iPad 2, 3, and 4 as well as the iPad mini. It will also work with the iPhone 5, iPhone 5S, iPhone 5C, and iPhone 4/4S. The GameCase is still in development at this time and a release date and pricing have yet to be announced.
