Game of Thrones episodic game coming in 2014 from Telltale Games

I mentioned earlier this morning that Telltale Games had announced a new episodic game called Tales from the Borderlands: A Telltale Games Series. That episodic game will be based on characters we know from Borderlands 2. Telltale is going all in with episodic games after the success of The Walking Dead and has announced another episodic game.

This episodic title is based on the massive hit show from HBO called Game of Thrones. The game will be developed in cooperation with HBO according to Telltale. Telltale and HBO Global Licensing have entered into a multi-year and multi-title partnership for the game series.

An exact launch date is unknown with Telltale only saying the Game of Thrones game will come in 2014. The game will be available for game consoles, PC, Mac, and mobile devices.

The only details on the game we have so far is a teaser trailer for Telltale. With the massive success of The Walking Dead as an episodic game, we can expect more titles of this sort from Telltale and other game publishers.
