Galaxy Tab 8.9 added to leaked Honeycomb roadmap

More Honeycomb tablet news today, with what looks to be a tweaked version of the leaked roadmap from Monday throwing Samsung's incoming Galaxy Tab 8.9 into the mixture. According to the document, which DroidLife says originates from retailer Staples, Samsung's new 8.9-inch Android 3.0 model is "coming soon."

Unfortunately much of the detail in the previous version of the roadmap seems to have been lost in this latest update. Last time around there was pricing and more specific release dates – the 10-inch HTC, Dell, Acer and Toshiba Android tablets were expected in June, for instance – whereas now they're only said to be "coming soon."

That may well be an attempt to bring models to market sooner than initially anticipated, in response to the iPad 2. Still, the BlackBerry PlayBook continues to be listed for an April release.
