Galaxy S4 Zoom LTE edition lands in Europe

If you're a European fan of the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom, a new and faster version of the smartphone is now available. Samsung has announced the launch of the galaxy S4 Zoom LTE edition within Europe providing significantly faster data connectivity than available in previous versions of the device. Other than the added LTE connectivity, the new version is basically the same as the older version.

The big feature for the device is certainly the high-end camera with its interesting Zoom Ring feature allowing access to all key features of the camera using one control system. The LTE version of the S4 Zoom features in-call photo share allowing users to take a picture and send it directly to the person they're talking to.

The Zoom Ring also allows users of the smartphone to access Quick Launch and Shortcut features. The smartphone camera features 10 times optical zoom. The image sensor inside the camera is a 16-megapixel BSI CMOS sensor and the camera features optical image stabilization. Samsung also fits the Galaxy S4 Zoom LTE edition with a xenon flash making it easy to take pictures in dark environments.

The Galaxy S4 Zoom also has integrated GPS and a number of Smart Modes to let the camera select the best settings for the shooting environment. The smartphone has a 1.9-megapixel front camera and runs Android 4.2 for the operating system. Other features include integrated Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth, and 8 GB of internal storage.

A memory card slot is available for storage expansion and the phone uses a 2330 mAh battery. The phone will be available on several LTE networks including Deutsche Telekom, Tele2, Telia Sonera and Orange. There is no word on pricing at this time.
