Galaxy Note 9 Android 10 OneUI 2.0 update tipped for imminent release

Today the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 was tipped to be getting an imminent confirmation of an update to One UI 2.0 Beta. This would mean an eventual full update to Android 10, the latest version of Android made by Google, with Samsung's own latest software to bring the device up near the performance level of its newer cohorts. The Samsung-made software One UI 2.0 Beta for Samsung Galaxy S10 was released earlier this year, and the Galaxy Note 10 received access to this program quite recently.

The folks at SamMobile reported the appearance of firmware version N960FXXU4ZSK2 for the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. According to their sources, this firmware likely points to the first beta version of Android 10 and One UI 2.0 for the Galaxy Note 9. Since the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 has not been given access to this same Beta in all countries around the world, it's likely we'll see that spread very soon, followed by confirmation of eligibility for the Samsung Galaxy Note 9.

This would be a mighty upgrade for the Galaxy Note 9 released in August of 2018. It's well over a year old at this point, but certainly not outside the bounds of expectation for highest-end upgrades to the newest software from its creators at Samsung. If you believed the hype when this device was first revealed in early August of 2018, you're likely still sporting this device today.
