FuboTV's free streaming sports network gets live and original content

Following its soft launch earlier this summer, fuboTV has officially launched its ad-supported Fubo Sports Network. The official launch brings both original content and live programming to the channel, including live horse racing, NCAA basketball and football, and more. The company has partnered with Stadium, FanDuel, and TVG, among others, and it also plans to stream live sports movies and documentaries every week.

FuboTV is a live streaming television service similar to Sling TV, PlayStation Vue, Philo, and others. Subscribers get access to a number of channels over the Internet rather than through traditional cable or satellite pay-TV services. The company first announced fubo Sports Network in late June as an ad-supported streaming sports channel that would offer various sports-related content.

As of its official launch this month, fubo Sports Network has announced live and original content that will be available to users, including NCAA Football and Basketball Division 1 games, major cycling events from around the world, horse racing through TVG, Major League Lacrosse stadium games, and Liga MX Soccer in English from Univision on Sunday afternoons. The latter will only be available to subscribers, however.

The company says it will announce more live sports for its streaming network in the future. In addition, fuboTV has introduced a number of original shows it will stream on the channel, including The Cooligans soccer talk on Tuesdays and Thursdays following Call It a Night with Julie Stewart-Binks, Drinks with Binks vodcast on Fridays, fubo News, and more.

Fubo Sports Network is available for distribution outside of the company's platform, including through The Roku Channel, XUMO, LG Channels, and Samsung TV Plus. In addition to the partners mentioned above, fubo has also teamed with Young Hollywood, VSiN, and The Players Tribune.
