Fitbit Flex accessories by Tory Burch arrive this spring

The Fitbit Flex, which we reviewed nearly a year ago, is a fitness band that tracks users body stats day and night, competing with some of the wristbands in the wearables fitness market. Soon, owners will gain access to an accessories line developed by Tory Burch, adding an element of chic to the fitness-centric wearable.

Tory Burch hails itself as an "American lifestyle brand" based around the "style and sensibility" of its designer by the same name. It was launched back in February 2004, and offers things like shoes and handbags, as well as various accessories. Soon, Fitbit will lays claim to some of those particulars.

There aren't too many details at the time, though Fitbit did post a couple of simple sketches on its blog today with the announcement. The accessories are set to arrive some time this spring, though a specific date or more narrow time frame hasn't been provided. The company promises updates and notifications for those who head over to its social media networks.

Says Fitbit, "by fusing fashion with fitness we hope to give you yet another way to get active and stay in style at the same time." The accessories will be sold apart from the Fitbit Flex itself, and will also be available on Tory Burch's website. The extent of the accessories and how much they will cost hasn't yet been announced.
