Fallout 4 Nuka-World expansion now available

The final Fallout 4 add-on, "Nuka-World," is available now for the PS4, Xbox One and PC. With the expansion comes a foray into Nuka-World, which is split up into half a dozen distinct zones with their own perils and attractions. There's a ton to do, according to Bethesda, though the map itself is a bit smaller than Far Harbor. The expansion brings new creatures, a trio of Raider gangs, and more.

The Nuka-World expansion has a lot of stuff to explore, with each of the aforementioned zones being split up into their own distinct areas with their own things to offer. No matter where you visit, you'll start off in the Raider hub; you'll be able to move into one of the other areas from there, such as Galactic Zone, Safari Adventure, or Dry Rock Gulch.

Nuka-World includes a functional bottling plant called the World of Refreshment, as well as the Kiddie Kingdom, a formerly family-friendly park that is now a scary place to venture. The expansion is also full of so-called 'unoccupied' areas, but Bethesda warns they're full of creatures and other unsavory things.

As well, the expansion include three Raider gangs, and the player will be given a Raider companion as a role guide. Bethesda says gamers are made the Overboss by beating the last Overboss, and tasked with restoring the Raider gangs to their former selves. After conquering the park, you'll be giving one of the gangs control of it, a choice that may affect you later in the game.

Gamers can expect to find new armor and other 'toys,' as well, like the Acid Soaker, Paddleball, and Thirst Zapper.
