Epson Endeavor Na01 mini netbook gets white casing, price tweak

Epson Japan have announced a new color version of their Endeavor Na01 mini netbook.  The Na01, which first launched back in November, is now available in both white and black, rather than merely the original black.  Specifications remain unchanged from the black Endeavor Na01 mini, meaning Intel's N270 1.6GHz Atom processor, 945GSE graphics chipset and a 10.2-inch LCD running at 1024 x 600 resolution.

Other specs include 1GB of memory, a 160GB hard-drive and WiFi b/g.  Ports include three USB 2.0, a memory card slot, VGA output, audio in/out and ethernet.  It measures 266 x 184.7 x 39mm, weighs in at 1.28kg, and we're assuming it has the same options list, including Bluetooth and a USB 1-Seg digital TV tuner.

One welcome change over the first Na01 is the price.  Epson have reduced the sticker on the new white Endeavor by 3,000 yen, bringing it down to the equivalent of around $480.  No word on availability outside Japan, however.
