DRIVECLUB weather demoed and release detailed

This morning we're seeing Evolution Studios show off DRIVECLUB's dynamic weather system in two video clips. In addition to seeing how this weather system works, we're also getting details on the PlayStation 4 bundle that'll be offered starting at the launch of the game.

In this weather system in DRIVECLUB, users will be driving in snow, wind, rain, and "everything in between." This weather system can be customized – but they're not revealing how, exactly. Not until the game is launched.

The game will not launch with weather controls right off the bat. "Shortly after launch," they say, the weather system will be available for DRIVECLUB as a free update. It's likely the game has been packaged already as this update continue to be worked on.

DRIVECLUB's Art Director Alex Perkins suggests that "you can expect [drizzle, sleet, downpours, blizzards and so forth] and you can expect it to change dynamically and unpredictably while you race." Perkins adds, "the only limit will be the need to balance things for fun and usability."

And the big amazing reveal of the DRIVECLUB PS4? Surprise! It's just the game with the console and a controller. It's also just coming to Europe, so no luck to you, USA citizens.
