Dell Latitude XT2 Tablet PC details confirmed in latest leak

Details of Dell's upcoming Latitude XT2 Tablet PC have emerged, courtesy of a service manual on the company's own site.  Unlike its predecessor, the Dell Latitude XT, this new model will have support for up to 5GB of DDR3 memory, use a 1.8-inch SATA drive, have a range of new ports and revert to integrated graphics (in this case Intel's GMA X4500) rather than a separate ATI card.

The Dell Latitude XT2 will use an Intel Core 2 Duo ULV processor, have a minimum of 1GB onboard memory (fixed, with a single user-accessible slot accepting up to 4GB chips), two USB 2.0 ports – one of which offers PowerShare, charging devices even if the notebook is switched off, and the other doubling as an eSATA port – and a 12.1-inch WXGA active touchscreen.  Connectivity will include WiFi and gigabit ethernet, as well as optional Bluetooth and WLAN; however WiFi and WLAN cannot be active at the same time.  On the right-hand side there's a 34mm ExpressCard slot.

Measurements are 297 x 218.6 x 25.4mm and the XT2 weighs 1.66kg (3.66lb) with the standard 4-cell 28Whr battery or 1.737 kg (3.83lb) with the optional 6-cell 58Whr battery.  There's also a battery slice that can be added, offering 48Whr.  No word on pricing or availability as yet.
