CyberPower drops Gamer Xtreme 1000 and 6000 gaming desktops

Gaming desktops are built for the enthusiast that wants to play video games and doesn't mind power for the extra power to get the best quality they can. CyberPower has unveiled two new gaming desktops powered by Intel Core i3 CPUs at CES called the Gamer Xtreme 1000 and the Gamer Xtreme 6000.

Neither of the machines will break the bank with the 1000 starting at $649 and the 6000 starting at $1489. The machines are based on the Intel Core i3-530 and i3-540 processors. The 100 will have a 500GB SATA II HDD and a DVD burner. Graphics will be via NVIDIA GT 220 video card.

The 6000 will have the i3-540 CPU, 8GB of RAM, and an ATI Radeon 5870 video card. Storage will be to a 1TB HDD. Both machines use Windows 7 Home Premium. The 6000 can be optioned with Blu-ray and more.
